In keeping with the Guidelines of the CDS and Governor Brad Little’s first stage plan to begin to open the state for normal activities and following the wishes of Bishop Peter Christensen our parish will begin to open for public liturgies. This can only happen if we adhere to the strict physical distancing.
We will be keeping a six foot distance between each person/family seating in the pews. Please be respectful of this social distance. Seating will be limited. A count will be taken as you enter the front door. Please know that when we reach this number the doors will have to be closed.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO MASS IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL! The bishop will maintain the dispensation of the obligation to attend Mass for those 60 and older; those who are immunocompromiosed or otherwise vulnerable; and all those who have judged it prudent for their health and safety to remain home. This dispensation remains in place until we reach the final phase of the governor’s directive (as of today, the date is June 26th).
You will enter the front door. At that time, if you wish, you may deposit your offerings at either the safe in the front door or the safe in the hallway. When exiting the church we will use the Exit at the left of the sanctuary at which time you may pick up a bulletin. There will be ushers present to help guide you.
The pews will be roped off to show where you can sit. There will be a space of one pew between you. Remember a six foot distance is needed.
No gathering before or after Mass please. The pews will be cleaned after each mass.
